However, there is a shortage of Engineers with the right mix of technical ability, personal skills and practical experience in specific areas. It is those who are in great demand. Hence, it can be seen that although there are a high number of Engineering graduates in our country, most of them does not have the competitive and technical skills to do a specific job. In short most of them lack employability skills. With the right mix of hardwork, practice and knowledge, you can make yourself attractive to prospective employers. Always work on your skills and try to improve them. The more skills you have the more chances you have of being approached by top-tier companies. Also, employers are desperate for graduates with good practical experience. Getting work experience helps you in generating and improving your existing skillset and expanding your practical knowledge. So, don't worry about getting a job after Engineering, instead think about the various ways to update your skills and knowledge.
