    Specialized Cyber Forensics & Information Security Sandbox

    • Purpose: A dedicated environment to simulate high-stakes digital crime scene investigations, malware analysis, network packet capturing, and data recovery without risking the core campus network.

    Advanced Hardware & Tooling:

    • Hardware Write-Blockers: Industry-standard physical write-blockers (Tableau / Logicube) to teach sound forensic preservation and data imaging.
    • Isolated Network Sandbox: A physically segregated network environment to safely deploy and study live malware, ethical hacking tactics, and incident response.
    • Forensic Software Kits: Exposure to modern open-source and licensed industry tools for mobile forensics, network forensics, and disk analysis.

    Robotics & Embedded Systems Lab
