B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

The Mechanical engineering department of TOMS dedicates itself in offering a distinct Mechanical Engineering B.Tech programme in Kerala. We impart skills and develop attitudes that makes sure that our students get placement in excellent companies and that they could start a career in Mechanical Engineering. Our undergraduate students could benefit out of the applied education that many employers are searching for, and our Lab facilities helps them achieve immense practical knowledge leading them to kickstart their own startups while being in the comfort of the college itself. The Mechanical Department offers detailed study in Automobile engineering, Aerospace related Engineering and its Optimization methods in design, and Turbo machines. Mechanical Engineering is an engineering branch offering lot of career opportunities, this branch profoundly deals with energy, design of machine components and equipment manufacturing. Mechanical engineers are responsible in conceiving, designing, implementing, planning, optimizing, and directing the process of manufacturing, operation and distribution of multiple types of equipment, machines, and processes including advanced human-machine systems – for energy management, synthesis of bio-fuel, environmental conservation, equipment processing and managing, transportation, medical applications, and similar purposes. The Mechanical Engineering B.Tech Program at TOMS College has the following Objectives:

  1. Develop Knowledge on mechanical engineering in multiple range of industries.
  2. Ensure scope for advanced education, R&D, and other innovative initiatives in science and technology, engineering, and also in other related professional careers.
