Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Electrical and Electronics Engineering is an integrated branch of engineering which deals with the technological aspects of electricity mainly the design and application of circuitry and electronic equipment. The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of TOMS college of Engineering and Polytechnic offers a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

The overall course duration is three years i.e. six semesters. After successful completion of the three year programme students get the opportunity to enroll for suitable bachelor’s degree or can opt for a working environment. They get the opportunity to work in numerous fields say power generation, electronics, computers and control systems, telecommunication and even in biomedical.

Department consists of very dynamic faculties having strong technical knowledge and skills. Departments keen interest include providing a successful placement opportunities for the students, transforming the students to a true professionals with required technical knowledge and overall skills. Department aims to provide hands-on training, skill acquisition programmes for the students which can ensure in building a bright career in their core area of study.
