I take the privilege to welcome you all to the Department of Civil Engineering at TOMS college of Engineering.

Owing to tremendous growth in the infrastructure sector, the demand of Civil Engineers has been on rise. To fulfil this gap to fuel the growth of the nation, TOMS college of Engineering offers Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering which is a four year engineering undergraduate programme affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and accredited by AICTE.

Our vision is to be a department of excellence that brings out civil engineers with high technical competencies and promotes high end research to meet the current and future challenges in Civil Engineering. Civil Engineering stream focuses in the areas of Structural analysis, Design, Environmental Engineering, Geo-technical Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Project Management.

Our department is equipped with excellent teaching facilities, including laboratory equipments to support the learning process. The available diversity of expertise of the faculty with the support of the Management, prepare the students to work in global multicultural environment.

Chemical Engineering is offered at TOMS College of Engineering since Aug 2014. We had a humble first intake of 30 students. Over the years the department has a vibrant annual growth and now we have a record population of over 200 enrolled students. The Chemical Engineering programme offered here is a four-year undergraduate Bachelor Engineering Degree and is based on the undifferentiated and holistic curriculum from the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
Our programme has received approval from AICTE,KTU, DTE,HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, GOVT OF KERALA respectively. We pride ourselves with over 10 experienced staffs that are active with diverse skills and expertise as reflected in teaching excellence and innovations.
As part of our commitment to enrich the University life, opportunities are made available to students for the development of their organizational and leadership skills through our curricular and extra curricular activities. Full support is also given to students at faculty level to show case their knowledge and skills at national and international events, such as Tech fest, seminars, conferences etc.
Our graduated students had graduated with good results in all semesters. Besides, high employability rate has been observed for our graduates and many are enjoying successful working careers in the respective industries and international organizations.

Welcome to the website of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in TOMS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING. The Department seeks to combine excellence in education and research with service to the industry. 

Our vision is to be recognized as an innovative and leading Mechanical Engineering Department in the Kerala and beyond. Our goal is to provide students with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences that enable them to serve a variety of societal needs. The Department offers Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program was substantially accredited by AICTE in 2014.

We produce graduates to become future leaders for industry, academia, government and society in the whole world, whose vision is founded upon fundamental knowledge, creative and analytical skills, local/regional perspective and ethics. Through a nice blend of course work and projects, the department endows students with the ability to apply knowledge of science, mathematics and engineering to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, provide leadership and technical expertise, and practice engineering with ethical approaches and concern for society and environment.
