Amrutha S is the Head of the Department (HOD) of the Diploma in Cyber Forensics and Information Security at TOMS College of Engineering, Kerala, India. She is a dedicated academician with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student development, and academic administration. She holds an M.Sc. in Cyber Forensics and is passionate about preparing students for the rapidly evolving fields of cybersecurity and digital investigations.

Her academic interests include Cyber Forensics, Information Security, Cyber Crime Investigation, Digital Evidence Analysis, Network Security, Database Management Systems, and Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity. She is committed to delivering industry-oriented education by integrating theoretical concepts with practical laboratory experience, enabling students to develop the technical skills required to address modern cyber threats.

As the Head of the Department, Amrutha S actively contributes to curriculum planning, academic coordination, outcome-based education, laboratory development, and student mentoring. She regularly organizes technical activities, seminars, workshops, industrial visits, and project guidance initiatives to foster innovation, critical thinking, and professional growth among students.

Her research interests focus on AI-based Cyber Crime Detection, Digital Forensics, and Emerging Cyber Security Technologies.
