INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERS CONCLAVE AT CROWN PLAZA, KOCHI January 17, 2020 Toppers of Chemical Engineering from Toms college of Engineering, Mattakara attended a one-day conclave on Air Separation on 16th January 2020 at Crowne Plaza, Kochi, with the support of Air Products .

Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers ( IIChE ), established in the year 1947, is the premier body of professional chemical engineers in the country. The Kochi Regional Centre of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers started functioning in the year 1976 and has members from academia, industries and statutory bodies.

The conclave will be inaugurated by Dr. R. Venugopal, Dy. Chief Controller of Explosives in Indian Petroleum & Explosives Safety Service (IPESS) who heads the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) in the state of Kerala & Union Territory of Lakshadweep. Richard Boocock, Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Special Adviser to the Chairman, Air Products will be the guest of honour of this conclave. He is the President of Air Products India and a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, United Kingdom.

This conclave is intended to provide perspective insights and knowledge required for effective and efficient management of air separation plants for operative staff, employees, engineers, managers in chemical industry and related government departments.
