I am a Visveswaraya alumnus. The change brought by Visveswarya in my life is like spreading light in the darkness. Firstly, my +2 marks were very less as a result I didn't qualify the engineering entrance. I couldn't get admission anywhere for engineering. At that time I got admission at Visveswaraya. The academic atmosphere at Visveswaraya and the guidance of Tom sir, which cannot be expressed in words, caused a dramatic change in me; a transformation that took me from a low performer to an All India Rank holder. After that, due to the coaching from Visveswaraya, I got admission in IIT Madras, through GATE exam. I Joined IIT Madras for MS, later upgraded as PhD, a few formalities remain for its completion. I never expected an IIT tag with my name. Even in schools I never even thought of writing IIT entrance examination. From that position, now I am an IITian, thanks to Visvewsaraya & Tom sir. Now I am placed at Technip FMC as a Senior Engineer. At this moment in my life, once again I take this opportunity to thank Tom sir and Visveswaya (TOMS College of engineering). For the current students, my advice is that you obey what Tom sir tells, it will make your future bright. Thank you.
